At present, GP practices have no ability to test for Coronavirus. Information about most medical conditions, including Coronavirus, can be found online at NHS inform

Many of us will likely only experience mild symptoms, however it is absolutely vital that we do all we can to protect the most vulnerable people in our community. We are aware that this is a very difficult time and appreciate your patience and understanding as this situation evolves.

Please note that these are unprecedented times and we ask that all patients remain calm while all NHS Services are

WIND TURBINE SIZE INCREASE REJECTED.

A proposal to increase the size of an already planned wind turbine was rejected by local Councillors. The E48 turbine to be built by Arthur Simmers at Hill of Fechal had already been approved some time ago. Mr Simmers had, since the first approval, asked to increase the size by 10 percent to an E56 larger machine at 87metres tall

Despite a recomendation by planners to approve, Councillors rejected the move by 5 votes to 4 at the Formartine Area Committee on 24th September.

The rejection does not stop the smaller E48 78metre high machine and Mr Simmers still has a right of appeal to the Scottish Government to allow the larger turbine.
