 A consultation has started on a traffic order which, if approved, will open Ingleside to traffic on to the B999 at the Co-op opposite the school car park entrance.

People views are being sought.

  1. Hello, in response to your request for comments on the opening of Ingleside to the B999: I cannot reemphasize enough my objection to this nonsensical plan.

    I firmly believe that the opening of the junction is a dangerous decision that will lead to an unsafe junction resulting in accidents, injury or worse.

    There are significant concerns in access to amenities that will disadvantage the village with significant disruption to the residents of Ingleside as the provision of loading and parking is wholly unsuitable. This will again lead to dangerous access and egress practices.

    The community voice was ignored in the original planning application and it is the community council that we look to ensure that at worst Aberdeenshire council demand significant revision and at best revoke permission to the opening of Ingleside.
