A medium to low level risk warning has been issued for Pitmedden flooding.
Please note below the newly issued a warning from SEPA. People living next to the Bronie or Little Bronie Burns should be aware of possible risks.
SEPA has issued the following warning.
Heavy rain during Thursday may lead to severe flooding in parts of Aberdeenshire. Particularly at risk are the rivers Don and Deveron and the rivers in the north east of the area. Levels are likely to peak during the night (early Friday). There may be extensive property flooding, severe disruption to travel and damage to infrastructure. Other parts of the area are also at risk of significant flooding.
Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188. This FLOOD ALERT UPDATE is now in force until further notice and was sent by phone and sms free of charge to registered customers of our Floodline direct warning service.
